EMULIUM® ILLUSTRO MB – Pigment empowered

Emulium® Illustro is a water-in-oil emulsifier that is highly compatible with pigments and UV filters, but also with a wide range of cosmetic ingredients. PEG-free and COSMOS approved, this new ingredient perfectly meets consumer requirements in terms of naturality and formulator expectations in performance and flexibility.
Today, there is growing consumer interest for silicone-free, natural color cosmetics and sunscreens.
Gattefossé has applied its strong knowledge in lipid chemistry to the development of Emulium® Illustro.
Six years of research and development have been necessary to create this performant and flexible emulsifier, that can replace water-in-silicone textures.
